Albert Doucet, formerly of Leslie St, Moncton passed away on- Friday, February 27th, 2009 at the Dr. Georges L Dumont Hospital at the age of 88. Born on January 1st, 1921 In New Edingburg, NS, he was the son of the late Philippe Doucet and the late Exeni Amirault
He worked as a Bricklayer until his retirement.
He is survived by his sister, Agnès (late Emile) Melanson of Nova Scotia; two brothers, Rubin (lace Anne-Marie) Doucet of Nova Scotia and Neil (Anna) Doucet of Amherst, NS and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Viola (Landry) in 2006, two sisters, Thérèse and Claudette and by five brothers, Louis, Félix, Pierre, Bernard and Issac.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Wednesday, March 4th at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
